The breakfast buffet was decent and the location was good for exploring the surrounding area. We also appreciated the traditional onsen experience with a view of Mt. Fuji.
The hotel is extremely dated and in need of refurbishment. the rooms were small and had old carpets and furniture.

I really loved the location of this hotel, it was absolutely gorgeous. It was a bit difficult to reach, but definitely worth it. I was able to walk to the nearby lake in just a few minutes. The traditional clothes provided were really nice, and the onsen facilities were excellent. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, making my stay even better.
Nothing that I didn't like.

The hotel is well located for people using public transportation only one minute from the bus stop. My wife and I enjoyed the hot spring in the hotel. The hotel is 10 minutes walk from ashinoko lake where you can use ropeway and boat.
From out side of the hotel, it looks old. In the room, the sink was noisy while using it.

A GOOD location, can recommend for every one. The hotel was not far from Kowakudani train station. Our room had free Wi Fi. We used free parking on site.

Great onsite hot spa and beautiful traditional clothes offered. Close to the nearby lake and perfect for a honeymoon getaway.
A bit isolated, no shops or restaurants within walking distance and the restaurant was very traditional and expensive. The hotel is outdated with old-fashioned decorations and breakfast finished early, adding pressure to get up earlier than desired.

The views.
A hotel that was a relic from another time and needs a multi-million pound update.

This traditional Japanese hotel offers a unique onsen experience, delicious 10-course dinner, and picturesque views of Mt Fuji. The cozy, clean rooms and friendly staff add to the overall charm. The location is ideal for sightseeing and away from tourist crowds.
Hard to think of anything.

The hotel is located close to the beautiful Lake Ashi and offers amazing onsen areas to relax in. the staff provides great service, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. the breakfast offers a diverse buffet and fills you up for the day. the hotel provides foreign size yukata, which is a nice touch.
The hotel's facilities, such as the tennis courts, are not well-maintained and could use an update.
